Important Milestones

October 2015:

Data harmonization for Buildings theme has been accomplished; harmonized viewing and download services have been launched. Download services are available both in direct access mode and as pre-prepared data sets.

September 2013:

Data harmonization for Addresses and Administrative Units themes has been accomplished; harmonized viewing and download services for both themes have been launched. Download services are available both in direct access mode and as pre-prepared data sets.

July 2012:

Basic Register of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estate (RÚIAN) has been launched, data of this register are open according to the law on eGovernment.

June 2012:

Harmonized download services for the Cadastral Parcels (both direct access and pre-prepared data sets) have been launched.

May 2011:

Harmonized viewing service for Cadastral Parcels theme has been launched (with data harmonized in PD).

May 2010:

First version of the Publication database (PD) has been put into operational run, above mentioned viewing services are being run in an on-line mode.

April 2008

First version of the viewing service for Cadastral maps (non-harmonised) has been launched and used to introduce spatial information into the Viewing Cadastre application. Service was based on standard outputs (exchange format files) with two weeks period of data updating.

 

Statistics of the Operational Run

The demand for the on-line services (especially viewing ones) has been instantly growing (see chart 1 – Map server statistics).

Conclusions:

The Map Server load statistics shows, that the real need of free services is much higher than has been defined by the INSPIRE implementing rules. We  monitored 800 parallel users of viewing services in rush hours recently (January 2016).
